Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and cornstarch. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the coated cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through.
  4. In a saucepan, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce, cooking for an additional 1–2 minutes until glossy.
  6. Toss the warm roasted cauliflower with the thick lemon pepper glaze and serve immediately, garnishing with additional black pepper.
