  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Aged cheddar offers a richer flavor profile.
  • 1/2 cup Ranch Dressing A spicy ranch can kick it up a notch.
Shells
  • 12 count Frozen Phyllo Tart Shells Mini pie crusts or wonton wrappers can also be used.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes, stirring continuously.
  3. Sprinkle taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with green chiles into the skillet, simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat with shredded cheddar cheese and ranch dressing.
  5. Fill the tart shells with the mixture, spaced apart on a baking tray.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with ranch dressing or salsa.
