Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking apart with a spatula. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and no longer pink.
  2. Drain excess fat. Add diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and ground ginger, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add shredded cabbage, stirring well. Cook for 5-7 minutes until tender but still crunchy.
  5. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and optional red pepper flakes. Pour over beef and cabbage, stirring well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, transfer to a serving plate, and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
