Caramelized Onion Aioli
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Add 2 sliced yellow onions and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, stirring occasionally. Cook for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer caramelized onions to a bowl. Mix in 0.5 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons sour cream, 1 minced garlic clove, and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. Season with 0.5 teaspoon salt and 0.25 teaspoon black pepper, stirring until smooth.
Prepare Burger Meat
- Combine 1.5 pounds ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently.
- In a skillet heated with 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat, cook the seasoned ground beef for 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Assemble Bowls
- Start with a layer of mixed greens as the base. Top with cooked ground beef, then add tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and pickle slices. Drizzle with onion aioli, sprinkle cheese, and garnish with chives. Serve immediately.
