  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Grated.
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce Light or dark soy based on preference.
  • 1.5 tablespoons Chili Oil Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Can substitute with honey.
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil Add at the end.
For Garnishing
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds Optional.
To Cook
  • Salt For seasoning pasta water.
  • 1 tablespoon Neutral Oil For cooking.

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, typically 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of neutral oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Lower the heat, add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, chili oil, brown sugar, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss until fully coated. Adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil, top with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
