Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 2 fillets Salmon fresh or thawed
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil can use vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or substitute with fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika or chili powder for extra heat
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise can substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons Sweet Chili Sauce essential for the flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha adjust for desired spice level
  • 1 tablespoon Honey maple syrup can be used
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice freshly squeezed preferred
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped; can substitute with chives

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  3. Place the salmon skin-side down in the skillet and cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes until a crispy crust forms.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 125°F.
  5. While the salmon cooks, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  6. Once salmon is cooked, drain excess oil and let it rest for a minute, then drizzle with Bang Bang sauce and garnish with green onions.
