Steps
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll out the ready-rolled puff pastry until smooth and about 0.5 cm thick, then cut out star shapes.
- Transfer the cut-out stars to the lined baking sheets, spacing them evenly.
- Brush each star with beaten egg and sprinkle half with Parmesan and half with paprika and cayenne pepper.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden, keeping an eye on them to avoid over-browning.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
