  • 1 cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 unit Avocado (fresh or frozen) Ripe for creaminess
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt Vegan alternative can be used
Flavor Enhancers
  • 1 unit Lemon Use zest and juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Use sparingly
Nutritious Boosters
  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds Can substitute with flaxseeds or hemp seeds
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder Optional
  • Ice Optional for fresh fruit

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Zest the entire peel of one lemon, then cut it in half and juice one of the halves.
  2. In a high-speed blender, combine almond milk, lemon zest, blueberry, avocado, and Greek yogurt.
  3. Add vanilla extract and cinnamon, then blend until smooth.
  4. Sprinkle in chia seeds and add protein powder and ice if desired, blend again.
  5. Taste and adjust flavors if needed.
  6. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
