Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed, then add chopped onions and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until onions are translucent and mushrooms are tender.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute. Return the ground beef to the skillet, stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and beef broth. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Cube the hamburger buns and spread them in a greased casserole dish.
  6. Pour the beef and vegetable mixture over the cubed buns and top with shredded Swiss cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
