Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, blend softened unsalted butter with white miso paste, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sliced green onions until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F or your air fryer to 400°F. Place the salmon fillets on a lightly greased baking sheet or air fryer basket and ensure the salmon is at room temperature.
- Generously divide the prepared miso butter mixture over each salmon fillet, using a spatula to spread it evenly.
- For the oven method, bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes until opaque and flakes easily. Switch to broil for the last 1-2 minutes for caramelization.
- If using the air fryer, place the salmon in the preheated basket and air fry for 9-10 minutes without flipping.
- Once cooked, transfer the salmon to a serving platter and drizzle with any remaining miso butter. Garnish with additional green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes
Ensure all ingredients are prepped at room temperature for even cooking. Wild-caught salmon enhances flavor and nutrition.
