Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced cremini mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add freshly minced garlic to the skillet with the sautéed mushrooms. Stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms, and garlic mixture. Fold in heavy cream, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper until well incorporated.
  5. Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with olive oil and pour the creamy filling into it, spreading evenly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the surface of the casserole.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.
