  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to your preference.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Gruyère or Swiss can be used.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Freshly shredded melts better.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in 1/4 cup of flour until smooth, then add 2 cups of milk gradually.
  4. Cook until thickened for 3-4 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Stir in 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and the other seasonings.
  6. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottoms in the baking dish.
  7. Layer turkey slices and bacon on the rolls, then add the Mornay sauce and cheddar cheese.
  8. Top with the other halves of the rolls and brush with melted butter.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, uncover and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
