Step-by-Step Instructions for Turkey Ricotta Meatballs
  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes. Add half of the olive oil, swirling to coat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, ricotta, Bisquick mix, egg, parsley, basil, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. With damp hands, form the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Arrange them on a plate.
  4. Carefully place the meatballs into the hot skillet and sear for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  5. Optionally, transfer to a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 15 minutes to lock in moisture.
  6. Serve immediately, or let cool before storing. Freeze in a single layer for later use.
