Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Butter Pecan Cookies
  1. Melt unsalted butter in a microwave or saucepan; let it cool slightly.
  2. Combine melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat ingredients together on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  4. Crack in two eggs and pour in vanilla extract, mixing on low speed until smooth.
  5. Sift together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon powder in a separate bowl.
