Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 10x14 inches.
- Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce and layer on sliced pepperoni.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long edge to form a log and pinch edges to seal.
- Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated parmesan.
- Cut several slits on top of the stromboli to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
- Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serve warm with extra marinara.
