  • 8 ounces long pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
For the Shrimp
  • 1 pound shrimp fresh or frozen, thawed and dried
For the Sauce
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or full-fat coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine optional
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
For Garnishing
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Cooking Steps
  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  2. Sauté minced garlic in the same pot for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden.
  3. Add the pasta, broth, and white wine to the pot. Stir well and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 10-12 minutes until pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan until creamy. Add shrimp back to the pot, heating through for 1 additional minute.
  6. Serve immediately garnished with parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
