  • 3 cups Heirloom Tomatoes Cherry tomatoes can be used

  • 2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Seeds Crispy fried onions can be used

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the frozen gyoza dumplings according to the package instructions, either by steaming them for about 6-8 minutes or pan-frying them for 4-5 minutes in sesame oil until golden brown and crispy.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the tamari, balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup until well combined and smooth.
  3. Once the dumplings have cooled, add them to the bowl with the dressing and gently toss to coat.
  4. Chop the heirloom tomatoes, slice the cucumber, and chop the scallions. Add these to the bowl along with the chili pepper and toss gently.
  5. Tear the basil leaves and sprinkle them over the salad. Top with toasted sesame seeds or crispy fried onions and serve.
  6. For an extra kick, serve with garlic chili sauce on the side.
