Step-by-Step Instructions for Potsticker Soup
  1. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes until it shimmers.
  2. Add minced garlic and freshly grated ginger to the oil. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in vegetable broth, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Carefully add frozen potstickers to the broth. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes until they float and are tender.
  5. In the last 2 minutes, add chopped mushrooms or spinach to the pot and stir gently to combine.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding salt, pepper, or optional chili oil as needed. Simmer for 1 more minute.
