Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once shimmering, add 1 pound of ground beef and cook until browned for 6-8 minutes.
  2. Push the beef to one side and add 1 diced onion and 3 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for 3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in 2 cups of broccoli florets and sauté for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder over the mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and let cook for 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender but still bright green.
  6. Lower the heat, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, and stir for 1-2 minutes until well blended.
  7. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  8. If desired, stir in 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Mix and serve.
  9. Serve hot directly from the pan with a light salad.
