Cooking Instructions

  3. Melt butter in the skillet, whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes until golden. This roux is for thickening the sauce.
  4. Gradually whisk in beef broth and cook for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Incorporate milk into the skillet, stirring until sauce thickens again for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add cooked beef and drained noodles, tossing together gently until well-coated with sauce.
  7. Stir in sour cream off the heat until melted into the sauce. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  8. Serve hot with vegetables or garlic toast, enjoying the combination of flavors.
