  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Incorporate chopped carrots and grated ginger, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in vegetable broth, bringing to a boil, then reduce to simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  6. Mix miso paste with a ladle of hot soup, then stir back into the pot.
  7. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
