Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Ragù by cooking it in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onions, garlic, and ground meat until browned, then add diced tomatoes and seasonings. Simmer for at least 2 hours.
  2. Make the Béchamel by melting butter in a saucepan, whisking in flour for about 2 minutes, then gradually adding warmed milk and seasonings. Simmer until thickened.
  3. Assemble the lasagna by spreading a thin layer of Béchamel in a greased baking dish, layering lasagna sheets, Ragù, Béchamel, and Parmigiano. Repeat layers, ending with Béchamel and Parmigiano.
