- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and buttermilk, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in red and green sprinkles.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the surface. Top with coarse sugar or extra sprinkles if desired.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
