Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté yellow onion for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the whole peeled tomatoes, crush them, and stir in oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Fold in rinsed white beans and heat through for about 5 minutes.
  6. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, spreading it evenly. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Broil for 1-2 minutes for a crispy top, keeping a close watch.
