Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and salted butter over medium-low until melted and foamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and diced onion; sauté for 30 seconds until onions are translucent and garlic is fragrant.
  3. Stir in medium grain rice; cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes until rice turns golden brown.
  4. Add frozen corn, then pour in boiling water and stir in chicken bouillon; combine well.
  5. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. After 15 minutes, turn off the heat and let it rest, covered, for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in garnishes before serving warm.
