Step-By-Step Instructions for Baked Egg Boats
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Brown the breakfast sausages over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes, breaking them up as they cook.
  3. Cut a deep 'V' shape along the top of the baguette to create a hollow space for the filling.
  4. Melt some butter and brush it generously on the inside of the hollowed-out baguette.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs and milk, then add cheddar cheese, mozzarella, cooked sausage, scallions, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
